The Protocol type Modbus TCP Client is used to read and write data from the remote network with a Modbus TCP Server.
A transpartent Modbus TCP Server (inputs/outputs “Coils” and inputs/outputs “Holding Register”) is available in the service. By means of any Modbus TCP clients in the remote network, data can be exchanged with the embedded Modbus TCP server. Furthermore, these data can also be read or written directly in the service with the protocol type Modbus TCP Server and used for further processing (e.g. alerting).
